With the summer of 2014 about to be consigned to memory it is time, once again, for the popular Merton Arts Trail, an event held every September around the South London Borough of Merton.
It will be held this year at various locations over two weekends – 20/21st and 27/28th September.

For book lovers, both adults and children, Wimbledon BookFest has a lot to offer. This annual literary festival takes place on Wimbledon Common between 3-12 October 2014. Like previous years the event will play host to a variety of authors from across the literary world spanning several genres.
The 10 day event is a ticketed affair; however there will be some free sessions at the Wimbledon Town Centre launch which will take place on 27th September in the Piazza. The occasion will also be marked by a visit from Sophie Hannah. Sophie will visit Wimbledon library to take part in a special event related to her newly commissioned Agatha Christie novel….
