Founded by Malawi-born Aziz Merchant in 2008, Southside Accountants is a firm of accountancy specialists who are focused on achieving the goals of their small business clients. Located in Wimbledon and serving the surrounding areas, Southside aims to become an integral part of the community, offering sound advice and practical solutions for business people who need a friendly and down to earth approach.
Aziz believes in education and is constantly adding to his already impressive list of qualifications. With a BA with Honours in Accountancy from University College, Cardiff, a Chartered Certified Accountant qualification and an MBA under his belt, he is well placed to provide the very best service for our clients. Educating his way out of a disadvantaged background was his first priority, his second has now become his business.
Aziz started Southside with the intention of offering something different within the financial services world. He lives by his own set of rules, which have been transferred to the business. He believes in working hard, focusing on others, creating a sustainable and eco-friendly future and moreover, providing service that reaches impeccable levels at all times.
Southside thrives on supporting local businesses and always operate under strict codes of professional conduct as defined by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
