Accessibility Standards

 

This site has been developed following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 1, published by an international standards organisation called W3C.

 

Keyboard Access Keys

 

Instead of using your mouse to navigate the site, the main sections of the site can be accessed by pressing the relevant key on your keyboard

 

Internet Explorer 5+ - press 'ALT' and access key. Then press ENTER.
Mozilla Firefox - press ALT ('CTRL' for Macintosh), SHIFT and access key.
Safari - Hold down the CTRL key, SHIFT and access key.
Opera 7.5+ - press SHIFT+ESC, followed by access key.

Increasing Text Size

 

To increase the text size you can:

  • in Internet Explorer 7, select: Page » Text size

  • in older Internet Explorer versions, select: View » Text size

  • in Firefox, select: View » Font Size

  • in Opera, select: Tools » Preferences » Fonts » Minimum font size (pixels)

  • in Mozilla, select: View » Text Zoom

  • in Netscape, select: Edit » Preferences » Appearance » Fonts

 

Alternatively, you can use your mouse's wheel whilst you hold down the Control (Ctrl) key.
